About Cloud 9 Child Care
From our family to yours, Cloud 9 Child Care is a home-based child care service provider, created by parents, and designed with the specific purpose to cater the development and well-being of your child.
Established in 2021, Cloud 9 Child Care is located in a highly family-oriented community within the Clanton Park suburbs. Surrounded by elementary and middle schools, and with the beautiful Earl Bales Park in our backyard, there is not a more comfortable place to be away from Home.
About the Educator
Nina-Marie Mariconda, R.E.C.E
As the founder, and the primary Registered Early Childhood Educator, Nina-Marie Mariconda delivers over nine (9) years of professional experience. Earning her diploma in Early Childhood Education through George Brown College and maintaining as a member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators, Nina-Marie has been dedicated to providing quality child care, as a mother to her own children, and as the educator to your child; structuring a curriculum that engages and stimulates through play-based learning activities customized to your child's individual interests and skills. As our children grow, we too must participate and adapt to their ever changing environment; Nina-Marie is continuously broadening her knowledge through various workshops and courses to further facilitate the intricate needs of every child.
About the Facility
We are excited to announce that we have taken possession of our newly renovated 800 square foot facility. Located on the ground level. Our new space will own its private entrance, kitchen, washroom, and laundry room, including direct access to the fully-fenced backyard for outdoor activities.
Our equipment, educational materials, and toys are carefully and strategically selected assuring that your child gains the most during their stay with us.
Maintenance and sanitation are conducted on a daily basis; in some cases, after each use, and strictly following the protocols and guidelines as outlined by Public Health Ontario.

Security Camera Surveillance; added insurance that your child will be safe from unwanted visitors.
Smart Entry System; allows staff to provide access to parents remotely while still attending to the children.
Mission Statement & Curriculum
Children learn best through play. Play is self-chosen, enjoyable, and process oriented. Our open-ended, play-based curriculum is carefully designed and adaptable to your child's interests and individual characteristics utilizing resources such as "How Does Learning Happen" and "Elect" to further enhance the learning experience. Through the play-based structure, children are able to learn more effectively when mentally active, engaged and social, and can make meaningful connections to their lives. Once children turn three, our curriculum is focused on a pre-kindergarten program, which includes workbooks, approved iPad resources, and structured activities.
Nutrition
Nutrition plays one of the most important and fundamental roles of your child's development.; rest assured, we are keen on providing wholesome and delicious meals and snacks catered to individual dietary demands. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be prepared on site.
Important Notes
We are currently accepting enrollment for children ages one (1) to five (5) years old with two (2) spots available as of September 2025. Please note that childcare spots are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.Please note that Cloud 9 Child Care is not enrolled in the CWELCC, and/or any other Federal/Provincial subsidy program.For enrollment, waitlist, and/or general inquiry, please send us an email to the below noted address.
